Sofi is such an amazing host. Thru countless Birthday's and dine ins, she has always come thru. She's always so welcoming with her hospitality with overall friendliness and attention to detail. If you want good Pakistani food with an amazing atmosphere, I'd check her out. Food is always made fresh to order. Food takes time, so please be patient. It's so worth the wait because patience is what the food is all about. Will continue to visit as this is what restaurants should be like.
i had delicious dinner on Friday at sofiz . one of the best goat curry with garlic naan.
This place is amazing! For starters, the interior is beautiful, you’re surrounded by beautiful colors, flowers, and peaceful music. The food is amazing and so flavorful, not a single thing I ate was bad. The service was also incredible, Sofi was always on top of everything. she was so eager to help and provide the best service possible. I can’t recommend this place enough, it makes me so sad that it was practically empty when I went. Sofi’z deserves so much love!
The atmosphere is colorful and festive. Sofi, the owner and the host, is just lovely. She is so hardworking, attentive, and welcoming. Her assistant Lovepreet is very kind and always eager to help. I have been there several times now and they always treat with me with so much attention and kindness.
Just went to this place for lunch. If you like Indian food and want Rich or flavor and no spice, this is your place! I had the butter chicken and the ruby chicken and they were both phenomenal. We tried something new as an appetizer and it was some kind of hollow dough ball that you stuff and dip in soup and it was so much fun. Incredible service as well! Highly recommend.
Sofi is so friendly and welcoming. During busy times, make a reservation or expect a long wait. The food is worth the wait, I have been back a few times now. It is delicious and served family-style so it's perfect for a group of friends who would like to try multiple dishes. I enjoyed masala chai, butter chicken and garlic naan. My spouse had kofta curry and mango lassi. My friends rave about the lamb. Also, she has put a lot of work into decorating her place and the bathroom is beautiful and has more amenities than expected. It is such a nice gesture of appreciation to her customers. We will continue to return and hope this restaurant remains a downtown staple for Chico.
I am over the moon about the food, service and atmosphere. Sofi herself waited on us and helped with our choices. Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani and Lamb Curry were outstanding!! Highly recommended!!
We had dinner at Sofi’z for the first time tonight. What a great place! The service and atmosphere were great! Felt like we weren’t in Chico. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious. We went with friends and ordered several dishes off the menu and they were all delicious. The lamb kebabs and butter chicken were my favorite! Can’t wait to go back!
What an amazing restaurant! We have heard about how wonderful this restaurant is and we decided to finally go. My husband and I went for our 21st wedding anniversary in August. We walked in and were warmly greeted by Sofi herself! The food was amazing. I have never had Pakistan cuisine. The Samosa were different than the Indian Samosa. I am used to, but in the best way. The outside was crispy and the inside was filled with delicious potatoes and peas. The jasmine rice was so fragrant and so flavorful. The portions were decent size and we even had enough to take home. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to be surrounded by a beautiful ambience and wonderful service and of course delicious food. It is a very unique and niche restaurant in downtown Chico.
It’s a welcoming restaurant. Cozy on a rainy day, and also bright/lively. We ordered tea. Perfect. I appreciate that it came with sugar on the side. Amazing start to the meal. The appetizers (samosas) were flaky. So light and freshly made. 15-20 min later our entrees came at the same time. Warm, but not piping hot. Perfectly timed. The owner, Sofi, is attentive and sweet
